Sol Confederacy Fighter
Using the established aesthetic from the Sol Confederacy Capital ship as inspiration for the first in the series of smaller craft and support vessels. I am doing this so there a strong sense of visual identity throughout the Sol Confederacy vessels. Using red guide lines on a separate locked layer to aid perspective and blocking in the initial shape before refining.
Block in finished, now more fleshing out as well as perceptive correction. (Further seen below) I changed the original construction lines to blue so they would stand out against the red perceptive grid.

Matriarch Final Concept
Final Concept for the Matriarch, decided to make it an envirometnal piece at the same time, since I didn't end up doing a Projection map due to running out of time.

Mothership Sillohettes
Redoing the Matriacrch ships, and decided to to give it a vertical look, to contstast with the more horizontal strikecraft, but also to empahise a greated sense of scale for it being taller. I am still using the afore mentioned marine life as an asthetic influnce, especially the Manta rays.
I did try to design the mothership with one of the earlier silohettes for the strike craft nut couldn't seem to get the sense of sheer scale that I wanted.
Trying new iterations, still not happy with the overall look, going to try another silouhette.
Don't feel this one works either, however in comparison the first iteration stage seems to stand out better in comparison. I think so of the osseue may be the overall detail doesn't correctly feed into the smoothess and curves of the established strikecraft final concepts.
Came out supersaturated, but abadoning this concept as I feel it is not working.
Finally settled on this silouehette, I found the red ship was too organic and didn't look that is was a was of human origin, so in the green iteation I went back to geometric shapes that I used in my inital concept for the Matriarch, then in third (blue) combined the elements of the two, I will be using this for the final Matriarch concept as it visually fits the smaller strike craft as well as retains the marine element.
Using a quick blockout on maya to use as reference for the ships perspective. I've decided to make the Matriacrch final concept.

Strike Craft Iterations
Starting strike craft iterations want to try out a couple more of the silhouettes and make iterations with those before settling on a final concept. The red iteration while not one of the ones I wouldn't choose. The contrast over the other iterations creates a stronger image and pops out more, It might works in favor of having a larger carrier vessel with sharper colored strike craft to help create a difference between the two being drawn/used in concert. In a game play scenario it'd make them easier to notice and identify to the player.
Final Silhouettes
These are the last set of Silhouettes I'm doing for BA6, I'm aiming to redesign the Matriarch class ship with one of them to fit a more organic design going back to my original intentions, and one or two fighter/strike craft concepts with iterations.
